How we started
Wanting to bring luxury and custom design to more people, AT Design Collaborative, LLC was founded. We provide services including initial feasibility studies or property reports, all the way to permitting and construction documentation.
Sticking true to our roots and passion, our favorite project is a modern, sleek home that incorporates natural views, lighting and fresh air. Life is to short to not enjoy the natural wonders around us.
What started off as playing Zoo Tycoon on the computer, quickly evolved to “designing” homes before I was even 10 years old when I got a home designing software. Admittedly, these were probably very poorly designed with toys and candy being at the forefront, the interest and passion was established.
When my family moved out of state, I would come back and visit San Diego every summer. While visiting, I would go to work with my aunt, also an architect, and get to learn about the industry and see it in action, even furthering my love and passion for it. By the time I reached high school, I knew without a doubt it was what I wanted to and took every drafting and architecture class available to me.
When I got old enough to really understand architecture, I quickly fell in love with Frank Lloyd Wrights designs. While living in Eastern Pennsylvania, my family would often take vacations around the East Coast, many of which involved seeing at least one or two projects by the famous architect.

Every project should start with CONNECTION. Our theory is, if we know who you are as a person, your hobbies, interests, or motivations, then we can design your dream project. This allows us to tailor material choices, layouts, and aesthetic to suit your lifestyle. We want to form an UNDERSTANDING of your needs and what the project is about. Are you trying to entertain every weekend and need a chef's dream kitchen? Do you want you need a spacious play area for the kids? Do you want to maximize home office space? This information allows us to COLLABORATE with you on a beautiful, functional design.
Our design stages.
Surveying and Measuring
We will come out to your project and take accurate measurements of your home or commercial space. We believe is always best to hand measure and verify ourselves to make sure that they are accurate. This prevents future complications during construction.
Design Phase
During the design phase, we will be spending a lot of time together figuring out the perfect design for you. We encourage every client to be creative and explore design options before we start the construction documents. There will be a lot of open communication to ensure we design what is best for you and your lifestyle.
Construction Drawing and Permitting
We will be taking the beautiful design we created and transforming it into the construction plans to be built. Once the construction documents have been approved by you, we will start sending them out for bids and obtaining all the necessary permits.
